QMU Virtual Pride 2020
With social justice central to our values, QMU is committed to equality and diversity. Following the cancellation of Edinburgh Pride 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, staff and students at Queen Margaret University wanted to mark the event on its 25th anniversary by sending in banners and messages for a virtual pride parade.

I am pleased to support the 2020 Virtual Pride March, and I would like to take this opportunity to affirm Queen Margaret University’s support for our LGBT+ community. It is my firm belief that Queen Margaret University is an open and inclusive place in which to work and study, and the Senior Leadership Team and I am keen to work with the University’s LGBT+ community to make it an ever more inclusive place.
