Dramatherapy
Welcome to the Dramatherapy section of the Practice-Based Learning support website.
MSc Dramatherapy
Every student completing the MSc Dramatherapy at Queen Margaret University undertakes 2 x 40 credit placement modules during their programme. We link with services in the third sector, local authorities, independent sector and in the NHS to provide a range of practice-based learning experiences.
Placements take place in a variety of settings: schools; hospitals; counselling services; day care services and more. Students work with people across the lifespan - from preschool children to older adults. In these settings, professionals from a range of backgrounds provide support and supervision for Dramatherapy students.
This web resource is here to support all involved in the process of supporting our students on practice placement.
At Queen Margaret University there is a team of qualified Dramatherapists who work closely with students, supervising and assessing placements.
We are always keen to connect with the people who are currently, and potentially, involved in placements.
