2012 Winner of Times Higher Education Leadership Award
In 2012, Queen Margaret University won the Outstanding Leadership and Management team award at the Times Higher Education Awards.
The award honours the sector’s finest leaders, managers and administrators. Judges singled out the institution’s remarkable financial turnaround and the charismatic leadership of its principal. It was the first time that the award had ever been granted to a Scottish institution.
