Three year old chesnut gelding by New Bay has been purchased by Jane and myself from Tatts for £14,000gns. He has a BHA rating of 71. The plan will be to give him a break and then try and get his rating up to 90 with a view to giving him a campaign in Bahrain over the winter. Quite often the horse rated around 70 from the bigger yards can get over looked and go out 4th or 5th lot and this horse looks cheap for a New Bay and one who will improve form Jane`s individual handling and a step up in trip to a mile and a quarter.
